Our convention is rapidly approaching and we of the
Committee think that you are in for a great time.
Sahib Temple stands ready to host each of you for
lunch and dinner. Give it a try, I think you will be
pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and
service received.As you have seen on the Web we have many activities
planned, so come down, come up or come over, but

Hi FSA Nobles and friends,
Well, less than 6 days to go, are you ready? This is
the fourth (and probably the last) Official 1999 FSA
Convention eNewsletter. If you would like to see
previous newsletters, we are now keeping an archive
on the FSA99 Web home page. I plan to send a post-
convention wrap-up newsletter. After that you can
start visiting the new Florida Shrine Association
Web Home Page at http://flashriner.webjump.com/
It still has a LONG way to go, but it's started. If all
goes right and the FSA officers approve, this will be
the home of future FSA Conventions on the Web,
the FSA2000 Convention at Bahia Temple in
Orlando for sure.We had a drawing on Thursday, April 29 at noon,
using the FSA99 Guestbook for the 2 Free President's
Banquet tickets (a $65 value). Gerald A. Durfee from
Azan Temple was our winner! I sent notification to
him at 3:49 p.m. via email that afternoon and received
a confirming response from him by 4:58 p.m. that he
would be here for the banquet (email is great! :-)
Jerry is the 1st Lt. Comdr. of the Azan Legion of Honor,
and was the Chief of Staff to the 98 FSA LOH
Commander. We congratulate Jerry and his Lady Joan
and wish them a wonderful evening at the President's
Banquet. Thank you all for your support of the FSA99
Website, all 2,444 of you that have visited so far.
We wound up with 189 people registered in the email
list.All of us at Sahib Temple wish every one of you an
enjoyable and safe convention. Please let us know if
