Dear Classmates,

Just a note to tell you that I am sorry this is so late, but I just couldn’t stand to do any more on it right away. I shortened the resumes in the interest of space, hoping that old friends would get in touch with one another to catch up on the years.

At present, we have $73.91 deposited in our account after all expenses. It will take close to $5.00 or more for envelopes, stamps, and to have these resumes copied, the balance will be sent by check to David Myers, a kidney patient here in Bradenton, who must use the kidney machine in Tampa three days a week. As I am sure you know the expense is tremendous, and the co-chairmen and I decided to donate what is left to him. We hope that all will agree that this is a very worthwhile cause, since we do have some money left.

Bobbi (Oblisk) Schweinshaupt

Chuck Ver Mett spent time in Georgia, Viet Nam, Alaska, and Oklahoma while in the Air Force. After service he went to work for General Motors Acceptance Corp., his wife June is a bank teller and has two children by a prior marriage. Their address is 4717 Crest Place, Oklahoma City, Okla. 73117

Robert (Sonny) Harper works for Southern Bread of Tampa, his wife Lois is a housewife. Sonny has two daughters by a previous marriage. He and Lois reside at 1501 Lake Drive, Cocoa, Fla. 32922

Elaine Hill married Robert Perry in October 1961. Bob is a Chemical Engineer with Borden Chemical in Plant City. They have two children. Elaine is a homemaker at 1831 Staunton Avenue, Lakeland Fla. 33803.

Gail Griffin earned her masters degree in Library Science and is now head of the Loans section at the State Library of Florida. Her husband David Stringer is working on his PhD. in Organic Chemistry at FSU. Write them at 803 Delores Drive, Tallahassee 32301.

Bill Parent is working for a CPA firm in Bradenton since graduating from FSU with a Bachelor of Science degree. He married La Quita Rich, and they have a daughter two years old. We want to thank Bill for the great job he did as Master of Ceremonies that weekend, he did a terrific job. How about 1979, Bill? Bill and La Quita live at 1210 16th Avenue W. Bradenton.

David Potter Works for the Florida Council for the Blind in the Vending Stand Program in Jacksonville. Still single and lives at 7000 Main, Box 223, Jacksonville.

Leeroy Whitehurst Jr. is married to Margaret Ann Toole, and they have two boys. Leeroy works at U. S. Products Co. as General Foreman and they live at 1908 26th Ave. E., Bradenton.

Melda Walter Is married to Robert L. Page and lives in Monmouth Maine. Bob is Associate Professor of Math at U. of Maine. Melda is Librarian at the Lewiston Public Library, and they expect their first child in July, 1970. Their mailing address is Box 132 RFD #1, Monmouth Maine, 04259.

John Boling enlisted In the Navy in 1960. In 1966 he married Mitzie Hood in Birmingham, Ala. He served three tours of duty in Viet Nam, and is presently a flight instructor at Moffett Field, Cal. His address is Lt. John Boling, Patrol Squadron 31, Naval Air Squadron, Moffett Field, Cal. 94035.

Pat Cilley is married to Ernest Southward of Sandford. He Is a citrus grower and President of Southward Investment and Realty. Pat holds a Masters degree in Political Science. Mailing address is P. 0. Box 1060, Sanford, Fla. 32771.

Beverly (Sissy) Smith Is married to Ronald McKinney, they have three children. Ron is Plant Superintendent for Bibb Mfg. Sissy is a housewife at 1167 Matthews Place, Macon, Ga. 31204.

Jim DeBona is in business for himself growing cut flowers. He was responsible for all the lovely flowers we used that weekend, Jim went to a lot of trouble to get them for us and we want to thank him, they were beautiful. Jim and wife Jean have four children and live at 3304 18th Ave. W., Bradenton.

Linda Coffin and Chuck Oudin were married nine years ago, he Is in the men’s wear business. They have a baby girl and live at #8-4.400 Plantation Blvd, Liverpool, New York 13088.

Alice Anttila, is married to Gerald Pickett, a U. S. Coast Guard Boatswain’s mate, and they have a son. Jerry is officer-in-charge of a light station twenty miles off Cape Cod. Alice is a homemaker; they live at 710 Palmer Aye, Falmouth, Mass 02540.

Nancy Tyler married Brian Sandahl In 1968. He is a ten year veteran postal clerk. They live at 23 Onyx Way, Law Vegas, Nev. 89106.

Robert Irwin & Anna Clair Graves are married and have three children. Bob is Vice President and Treasurer of Mjll Ridge Corp. of Foscoe, North Carolina. They receive mail at P. O. Box 333, Banner Elk, North Carolina 28604.

Jacquelyn Beebe married Sam Kates, he is Sales Promotion Mgr. for J. C. Penney in Jacksonville. They have two children. They reside at 1954 Beach Avenue, Atlantic Beach, Fla.

Richard Frye spent two years active duty in the Navy. He is employed at EMR-Telemetry Inc. as a Gov’t. Property Planner. And is a bachelor. He lives at 2320 Colgate Ave, Bradenton.

Alan Blanchard graduated from Emory U. School of Dentistry in 1966. Began practicing in October 1968 in Pickens, South Carolina. Married in 1968 to Julie Kirbo and they expect their first child in August 1970. Write them at 164.7 E. Greenville St., Anderson, S. Carolina 29621.

Ned Alcathie Is on active duty with the U&AF stationed in U-Tapao, Thailand. He is a veterinary technician. Married Linda Barnes in 1961, and they have two children. Will be home in August before going to next assignment in Bunker Hill, Indiana. The only address we have is his address APO San Francisco. His parents, Hanie F. Alcathie, live at Rt. 3, Bradenton, Fla. Am sure any mail would be forwarded on to him.

Rod Petrey graduated from Harvard Law School in June 1970. He married Lucy Woodward in 1969, she teaches ninth grade English. They are living at 4808 45th St N. W. Washington, D. C. Rod says if any of you are up that way to stop and see them.

Susan Taylor married Dr. Robert King in 1965. He is an ophthalmologist, Susan is a homemaker. They have three children. Their address is 4630 60th St. E., Bradenton.

Garry Skene is Funeral Director at Edwards Funeral Home in Palmetto. Married Pat Reagan in 1964, they have two children. Their home address is 530 15th Ave. Dr. E., Palmetto, Fla.

Suzy Robson married W. E. Page, III in 1960, they have two children. Gene is in the newspaper business, having just moved back to Bradenton in June. Write them at 10108 Spoonbill Rd. Special thanks to Gene for arranging for a photographer to come to the Chalet and take some pictures for our scrapbooks. We appreciated it very much.

Marilyn Epps married Cliff Ruffing in 1962. They have a daughter and live at23l5 17th Ave. W., Bradenton. Marilyn is a housewife and Cliff is Asst. Mgr. on the evening shift at Botts Standard Service. Marilyn was responsible for finding where most of our classmates were now, and we thank her for the terrific job she did.

Jane Ellen Moore is married to Tony Strickland, they have two children and live at 906 Ohio St., Okeechobee, Fla. 33472. Tony is Head Health Supervisor of Chas. McArthur Dairies. Jane Ellen is a homemaker.

Janet Beitzel married Dale Hadaway in Sept 1969. Janet has been a secretary for IBM Corp since 1963. Dale is a realtor and advertising manager for his firm. They live at 288 Kings-bridge, Elk Grove Village, Illinois 60007.

Faith Cox Musselwhite has been divorced for eight years and has three daughters. She has been secretary for Trinity U. M. church for four years. Her address is 1443 15th St. W, Bradenton.

Ron Hirshberg is a Sales Representative for Will Ross, Inc. of Atlanta. Married to the former Janice Carlson and have two sons. They live at 1671 Castle Ct, Norcross, Ga. 30071.

GiGi Kerrick married Tim Chasey in 1962. They have two sons. Tim is employed by Penn-Alum Products of Bradenton. They live at 5724 21st St. W.

Russell Horne married Sandra Le Grange ten and one half years ago. They have two children. Russell is employed at Winn Dixie Stores in Bradenton. They live at 127 27th Ave. E.

Bruce Moore married his wife Cathy in 1965, they have two children. And live at 6 Doral Dr., New Windsor, N. Y.

Sherill Mead is lingerie buyer for Maas Bros. in St. Pete. Married to Louie Hewlitt, they live at 1477 78th Ave. N., St. Pete.

Richard Campbell is Guidance Counselor at Pasco Jr. High in Dade City. He married his wife Folly in 1969, she teaches fifth grade at Fasco Elem. School. They live at 513 S. 17th St., Dade City, Fla. 33525.

Dave McClellan is Promotion Manager for Liberty/United Artists and plays drums, and does some recording sessions. He is married and has two children with a third due in July 1970. They live at 22 Coronet Way N. W., Apt. J 2, Atlanta, Ga. 30318.

Sally Laney is a homemaker and attends Troy State U. Her husband Foy Covington, Jr. is a Personnel Counselor for Page Aircraft. They have two sons. Their address is Rt. 2, Newville, Alabama.

Linda Elliott married Sidney Reames in June 1959. He works for Standard Oil and Linda is a homemaker. They have two daughters. They reside in Sherwood Forest, 661 Sherwood Dr. Apt K 2, Jonesboro, Ga. 30236.

Dennis Sauve is in the custom tailoring and mail order business in Hong Kong. Has been living in the Far East for the last six years with 3½ in the Philippines. Is divorced, and says he is as bad as ever--"Raising hell, boozing and running around till all hours of the night." He sends his best regards to all. Susan Husted married R. Thomas Montanus in 1963. They have two sons. Busan is a homemaker and Tom is principal of Prine Elem. School In Bradenton. They live at 1012 Casabella Dr, Bradenton.

Terry McDonald married Joan Hutchinson in 1963, they have one son. Terry spent five years in Army including a tour in Viet Nam. He now teaches at Palmetto High and is working on his Masters degree at USFS Their mailing address is Rt. 1 Box 231, Palmetto Fla. 33561

Joan Bailey married John Bielema in 1963. He is Distribution Mgr. for Import Motors Inc. in Michigan. Joan gave up her career and takes care of two children. You can write to Joan at 2327 Ridgecroft S. E., Grand Rapids, Mich. 49506

Joanne Walker married Frank Cipriani while still in school. She went back and got her diploma in 1968. They have four children. Frank is in the tractor business.

Yvonne Bodhaine married Hub Ross and they have two sons. Hub is with the Professional Golf Co. Yvonne is a housewife. They are both avid golfers. They live at 2550 S. Semoran Blvd., Apt. 505, Winter Park, Fla. 32789.

Richard Travers has been on active duty in the U.S. Army for nine and one half years. He met his wife Anna in Germany. Was stationed at Mac Dill but at the reunion he said he had just received orders for Germany. We don’t have their new address but am sure all letters will be forwarded. Don’t even have his rank. 2707 Mississippi Ave, Tampa, Fla.

Pene Tourville received her Masters degree In Library Science in August 1966, entered the Army Librarian Program in Sept. l966. Is Supervisor, staff level, of other Army librarians who have their own libraries. Address--Hq. 7th ATC, Sp S Library Branch, APO, N.Y. 09114.

James Vandelly was released from active duty In the USAF in 1966. Finished college and is now a Gov’t. teacher in Arlington, Virginia. Plans to return to college and get his PhD. in Gov’t. then teach in college. He and wife Kathy were to take students on a study tour of Europe and the Soviet Union this summer. They live at 5633 Sanger Aye, Apt. 123, Alexandria, Va. 22311.

Bill Kerr is on active duty with the USAF stationed at Ram-stein AFB, Germany, Up until May 1970 he was at Mac Dill. Bill and wife Mary have three children, his family is with him. Patty Plano met and married her husband Rafael Li in Peru where she was a Peace Corp volunteer. They have two daughters. They live at 1212 13th Avenue W. Bradenton.

Suzanne Coates married Jim Harper in 1963. He is an insurance agent in Clearwater. They have a daughter and twin sons. Write them at 1960 Sever Dr., Clearwater, Fla. 33516.

Paula Siedenburg is married to CWO James Hill, he is a test parachutist and Chief Jump Master for the USN in El Centro, Cal. They have two daughters, and Paula is a housewife. Address them at NARF Parachute Dept., NAF El Centro, Cal. 92243.

Kathy Lucke is a licensed beautician and is married to Ray Crawley.. Ray is a pipe fitter, they have two daughters and live in Bradenton at 6311 7th St W.

Marion Hindman served five years in the Navy and is now a pilot with Delta Airlined based in Atlanta. He and his wife Lana have two daughters. Their address is Heritage Apt. #A-45, 363 Upper Riverdale Rd, Riverdale, Ga. 30274.

Judy Kling married Rocco Conte in January 1965, they have two children. Judy is a social worker and Rocco is in the construction business with his father. You can write them at 31 Union St., Fultonville, New York 12072.

Linda Dennis is a registered nurse although she hasn’t worked since her children came. She married Gerald Priebe, who is a Digital Systems Analysis expert for Hewlett-Packard Corp. They have two children, and get their mail at P. 0. Box 28234, Atlanta, Ga. 30328.

Nancy Mathieu married Gerald Dufresne in 1964. He is a Fireman and Nancy is a homemaker, they have three children. They live at 150 Short St, Brockton, Mass.

John Foy is Pastor of a Presbyterian church in Monroe, N. Carolina. He married Geraldine Abernathy in December of 1966, she is a registered nurse. They live at Rt. 4 Sandy Ridge Rd., Monroe, N.C. 28110.

Ron Keck is a Lt. of Detectives on the Palmetto Police Dept. He is married to Bonnie Reiter and they have two girls. Their address is 1209 21st Ave. W., Palmetto, Fla.

Joetta Falittie married in 1960 to Paul Howerton, an Engineer for General Telephone Co. of Illinois. They have a son. Joetta is a housewife and mother, and says, "Come on folks write to me--love to hear from ya’ll". Their address is R. R. 2 Box 392, Carterville, Illinois 62918.

Barbara Harris married Ben Amlongin 1960, and they have three children. Barbara is a homemaker and Ben is pastor of a church in Ozark, Alabama. Their address is Rt. 2, Ozark, Ala. 36360.

Linda Pruitt is married to Tom Gallen, an attorney and a member of the Florida House of Representatives. They have two children and live at 5506 9th Ave. Dr. W., Bradenton.

Pat Carpenter married Harry Teeter in 1962, and they have two children. Harry is Production Control Mgr. at American Beryllium Co. and Pat is a housewife. They live in Bradenton at 3103 37th Ave. W. Thanks for all the work you did Pat, and for Harry’s help in designing and making our mascots. Thanks a bunch.

Virginia (Ginger) Albritton Married Don Nobles in Sept, 1960. They have three boys. Don is employed with Warren Bros. a road building firm in Sarasota. Ginger is a housewife and has devoted the last year to making the reunion the success that it was. Thanks Ginger from all of us for getting the ball rolling. How about starting the next one in four years.

Barbara (Bobbi) Oblisk & Gary Schweinshaupt were married in Feb. 1960. After discharge from the USAF in 1963, Gary went to work for EMR Telemetry, Inc. in Sarasota where he is an Engineering Technician. Bobbi is a housewife and works part-time at Sears. They have two children. She spent the last year as Sec’y-Treas. of the reunion, and even though it was a lot of work I really enjoyed it.
